Life is a journey, not a destination. Continue to explore, seek, and experience, for there is no end to living.
Be honest and fair, as the truth will make you free. You will not be burdened with guilt and anxiety if you follow this path.
Be true to who you are, for inside is a wonderful human being. Do not risk integrity and beliefs for money or stature. Take time to reflect on your accomplishments.
Don’t let success become an end to a means.
Keep family above all other, and remember when you have children, they are your greatest gifts.
Seek knowledge; never stop your quest for learning.
Gossip is rarely productive; keep away from this urge and hope you do not fall victim to it.
Do a good deed every day; the self-satisfaction will amaze you.
Exercise regularly; while relieving tension you will also stay healthy.
Work hard; do not become habitual or stagnant in your endeavors.
Potential means nothing unless you make it happen. Continue to develop your potential; you are great and will always find ways to do better.
In this ever-changing, fast-paced world, do not change the foundation of who you are: a caring, loving human being.
Have a sense of humor; humor will pull you through stressful times. Remember, “Laughter is the best medicine.”
Don’t let personal possessions—the desire for bigger and better—cloud your appreciation for what you have.
Talk to your elders; those older than you have experienced more and probably know something you don’t. Be humble and gracious and treat your elders with respect, while gaining their wisdom.
Remember the phrase “When things get tough, the tough get going.” Your hopes and dreams do not come without work, diligence and perseverance. Let stress be your motivation.
Have compassion for others; their irritation may be founded on personal difficulties.
Jealousy has no place in the healthy, contented human spirit. You will never have as much as some, and you will always have more than others. Every day think of something you are grateful for.
When you find yourself feeling uncomfortable, stand tall and proud, and walk right through it.
You learn value in life by giving, not by taking. Give from your heart and your pocketbook.
Most importantly, keep God in the forefront of your life. He is the one and only constant as everything around you changes. If you are confused in your faith, seek answers, for there is a higher power to which we owe our existence.
